Download Schooling Show Series Rules here IDCTA Schooling Show Series General Information IDCTA is pleased to join with the stables listed in this Omnibus to present this schooling show series. In general, it will be a reflection of typical USEF/USDF/USEA recognized shows. Our goal is to help all riders feel more comfortable showing and to give you a year-end goal at a local level. If you should decide to show at a recognized show in the future, hopefully you will find this series has prepared you. Listed in this Omnibus you will find prize lists for all the shows that we are working with this year. Each stable has the right to set their own policies regarding fees, refunds, stabling, warm-up areas, parking, pets, etc. Read each prize list for details. Each show must offer the basic classes that IDCTA recommends. They may offer additional classes. Show management shall act as the Technical Delegate (TD)...

Lilo Fore is owner of “Sporthorse America” in Santa Rosa, CA, where she has offered as many as six Champion stallions at stud at one time. Many national and international awards have been earned by dressage horses from her breeding program. Lilo has her FEI “I” judges license and has judged many CDI-W shows, qualifying international shows and USET Selection Trials. Lilo was involved with the USDF Instructor Certification program from its inception, is an Examiner for the program and is Chair of the Instructor/Trainer Council for USDF. She is also an examiner for the USDF Sporthorse breeding program. She has trained both horses and riders nationally and internationally. She frequently offers Dressage symposiums and clinics at her Sonoma County facility as well conducting clinics herself throughout the world. Lilo grew up outside of Dusseldorf, Germany, where, at age four, she saw her first horse. Lilo says “...from that time on I knew that four legs, a mane and tail would be my life.” She is the winner of numerous national and international Horse of the Year awards for California, USDF and USET. She is continuously involved in many educational programs for Dressage trainers, teachers and judges throughout the U.S.

OUR MISSION

The IDCTA is a not-for-profit, educational and social organization whose purpose is to represent its membership in national equestrian groups and provide a unified voice to further causes of interest to its members. The IDCTA is an associate member of the United States Eventing Association (USEA) and the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). The IDCTA serves the interests of the equestrian community in Illinois and provides programs for dressage and event riders in our area that will augment those offered by the USDF, the USEA and the USEF (United States Equestrian Federation). In 1972, the club was started as 'Illinois Dressage Association' (IDA). In 1984, Combined Training (CT) joined thus creating the 'Illinois Dressage' & Combined Training Association (IDCTA). Our membership growth has been steady from about 400 members in 1997 to almost 1,000 in 2008.

IDCTA DRESSAGE ANNUAL AWARDS (Revised April 2006) OVERVIEW: IDCTA shall present first through sixth place high point annual awards, as entries warrant, in each of the following: - Horse and rider combinations having the best average for the top five (5) rides of those submitted for each level from Green as Grass/Introductory through Fourth Level. - Horse and rider combinations having the best average for the top four (4) rides of those submitted for each of the FEI levels from PSG through Grand Prix. - Horse and rider combinations having the best average for the top three (3) rides of those submitted for Musical Freestyle at each USDF and FEI recognized level. High point awards will be awarded for Open, Adult Amateur and Junior (Jr)/Young Rider divisions. Final divisions for each level are at the discretion of the Dressage Committee as entries warrant.
