About Us
The IDCTA serves the interest of the equestrian community in Illinois and provides programs for dressage and event riders in our area in the following ways:
* RECRUIT - We invite participation in the IDCTA to create a broader base of involvement by dressage and event riders.
* INFORM - Our members make contributions to the monthly IDCTA Newsletter, The Scribe, on a regular basis.
* DEVELOP - We encourage awareness of and attention to non-equestrian aspects of our sport such as land usage, cross-country course construction, availability of training facilities for clinics and volunteer work.
* EDUCATE - We organize seminars and clinics with top professionals and sponsor schooling shows and local competitions while promoting safety and sportsmanship at all times.
* RECOGNIZE - We recognize both member achievements and volunteer participation throughout the year.

The Scribe
The Scribe - IDCTA members receive a monthly newsletter, the Scribe, packed with comprehensive information including show and clinic dates, upcoming events, useful articles for equestrians and horse owners, ads, meeting information and much more! Members are encouraged to contribute to the Scribe by submitting comments, articles, news and photos. Deadline for submission is the 10th of the preceding month. Please send material to Newsletter Editor, Jennifer Kotylo at jkotylo@yahoo.com .
Advertising - All ads featured in the Scribe must be prepaid and received by the 10th of the preceding month. Contact info is shown below but please read our ADVERTISING POLICIES page PRIOR to submitting your ad! The advertising policies provide guidance on proper submission so that your ad can be run correctly and on time.
